Our School
Located in the beautiful rolling hills of Southern Oregon, Freckled Fawn Nature School has been granted permission to call the Jacksonville Forest Park in Jacksonville,Oregon home. While here, students will spend their school day outside rain or shine, exploring the flora an fauna this area has to offer.
The forest transforms into our “classroom” where we use natural resources to create our very own mud kitchen, mini boat dock, coyote caves and more! The park provides us with ample space to work on gross motor activities which helps keep us warm in cooler weather. With many labeled trees and plants for easy identification we have plenty of teachable moments within this natural habitat as well as learning about safe use and care.
